I Followed My Nose to the Promise Land with Scent Machines

Ever walk by your favorite restaurant and envision the most delicious dish the place offers? A person’s sense of smell does not diminish with age like sight or hearing therefore the scent a customer remembers as a child can be duplicated to attract them as an adult. Taking a step further consumer purchasing increases when they are relaxed. Creating a peaceful, unique scent trigers a person’s sensory glands, telling the brain they are returning to a familiar location. Simple human nature takes over from there and scent has done its job.

Successful clothing and restaurant companies throughout the world have copyrighted their specialized scent in order to retain customers. Appealing the smell elevates the probability of a consumer remembering a company. Scent systems have been installed on the sides of roads, in the middle of mega cities, and directly outside retail outlets to attract new and returning customers back to brand who treated their nose so well the first time. It is so simple yet so effective.
